New York!

Youu guys... I am so sorry! Haha and ohh bloggie, I am sorry I have neglected you for so long. I have been mucho busy though! I went to the Michael Buble concert, my brother Rock came home from his mish! And we went to New York! YAAY! But due to the thing called time that never ceases, I am going to just write about New York. Because that, in itself, is one awesome adventure.

Brace yourself...
So we departed Wednesday, April 28, to the beautiful place. We left at 3 Arizona time, but did not arrive to our hotel until like one in the morning. Weird. Haha we stayed at the coolest place ever called The Waldorf=Astoria and it is this ancient hotel that famous people used to stay back in the day, but now it is open to the family audience. I felt like royalty in that hotel; it was gorgeous. Oh yeah-- we went to New York because my mother is now the president for Arizona of this association called American Mothers. It's awesome! So they were having this huge convention up there. Thank youu mother! She is great. Well so Thursday it was the family minus my dad and we walked around mostly the whole day, shopped-- 3 story American Girl Doll Place, TOYS R' US with a ferris wheel inside, and the biggest Anthropologie (heaven) in the world... only in New York right. We went to the giant M&M store and I accidently, okay I purposefully ate TONS of M&Ms!

From neon colors to peanut butter filled. Yuuum. We also went to the candy story next door and jake took a picture on their Hershey Machine thing to send to his friend. Then, later, we look up above the candy store and there was Jake's smiling face on the big screen right above it! It was sooo funny! It also stayed there the rest of the trip! Hahaha we ate at the one and only RAY'S Pizza, and then at night we saw the amazing show called The Lion King and went to THEE best place on earth called Serendipity. Serendipity has the best frozen hot chocolate my taste buds have ever tasted. Actually the only frozen hot chocolate they've ever tasted. Haha it's the cutest little place that is always buzzing because they filmed part of a movie in it, and its been famous ever since. So we went there for dessert, and my dad showed up later that night at around one in the morning.
FRIDAY. Friday my mom had meetings starting at 3 until about 9, so we woke up, and got straight to it. We woke up and went sight seeing and shopped. My dad got this driver-- the funniest guy ever with a New York accent-- named Howie.!! Howie took us to the wonderful canal street (the best bargaining ever), took us to KATZ'S Deli (expensive, tasty, and the BIGGEST sandwiches ever.. NEW YORK<3), and then we dropped our lovely American Mother off at the Waldorf where the wonderful hotel staff open the doors to our car for us and help us up the stairs.. fancy shmancy. We then drove to the ticket place with our dad to get tickets for the wonderful show called "The Million Dollar Quartet". That show was awesome! It was about the night Elvis Presley (hottie!), Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis all got together for the last time. It was a brand new show, and it was AWESOME!! The cast sounded just like all of the real people, and it was just so full of energy and everything. That night, around 10, we got our mother and walked to Serenipity! YAAAY! FRRROZEN HOT CHOCOLATE.
Saturdaay.. my mom and I went running that morning; and that was a crazy experience. We ran in and out of the honking taxis, the murmuring of people on their cell phones, the clicking of stilettos, and the blinking of signs with a red hand and then flashing to an outline to a white mini person, appearing to be walking. My mom had meetings mostly all of that day, but we stopped by canal street for some good bargaining with her and another "American Mom" from Ohio. It was so fun! Then we went to Times Square and saw the matinee showing of my personal favorite show named WICKED! My family loved it as well as I. We then ate dinner at this famous place called Juniors, and we walked outside only to find something we did not realize until later could've have been the end of us. We walked outside to find a fire truck, and a smoking black car. I just stood there taking pictures not knowing what was going on, and we continued on laughing and skipping along. Later that night, as we returned back to Times Square   with my mother, about half of Times Square was taped off. There were police on horses trying to clear the last of the thousands of people out. We assumed they must be filming a movie or something from the rumors we heard, so we shopped around, and returned back to our hotel. We flipped on the news to find shocking news; the car we had seen that was previously smoking about 15 feet away from us, turned out to be the car bomb in Times Square, May 1, 2010, that failed to go off. Wow. We just sat there saying prayers of thanks as we found out it was supposed to have caused much damage as well as tragedy for all of New York. That was such a wake up call for my whole family!
Departure. Sunday was weird weather; they had a major heat wave, and we walked around a bunch. We went to Central Park which was so beautiful and we took tons of pictures. We then walked to St. Peter's church and attended a mass service there. It was so incredible! The architecture was amazing and it was huge! Such a neat experience to be honest. We then walked back to our hotel, packed up our bags, and headed home.
Arrival. HAHA. We arrived home at around 10 PM, only to find ourselves locked out. My dad was on a different flight than us, so we waited and waited until about 1145 when he got home and could let us back into our wonderful home. Hahaha it was the funniest thing of my life; we were all so slap happy just walking around the neighborhood. I love my family; and I honestly, LOVE New York.
Forever in my heart-- the big lights, the huge city life, the crazy people, the noisy streets, the incredible shopping. NEW YORK &<3 2010.

Sorry about the novel I just wrote guys, haha I'll add pictures to it as soon as I can!

Any m&m you could ask for.
It's Jake!
