1. Communication in general is a crucial part of leadership. It is probably one of the most, if not the most important thing you can do as a leader. When you communicate well, however, what is when it becomes extremely useful and helpful. Communicate powerfully and prolifically allows you to relay the specific message that you are trying to for your audience. It allows your audience or those that are leading to understand and know exactly what you want them to do.
2. I loved what Todd and Joe talked about! Because I am sometimes a "people pleaser", I can sometimes be easily swayed. But I loved what they said about always knowing what they wanted to say before hand, and to always stick to that when presenting it. I think for me, it would be extremely beneficial if I better established what I believe and the message I wanted to give my audience, and also to know who I am communicating with. That way, when the time comes, I remain firmly rooted in my communication, with no grey areas on what I believe or the message I am trying to send.
3. My step-by-step process to good communication:
1. Know my audience
2. Establish before hand what my beliefs are and the message I want to send to my audience.
3. Try and appeal to the audience by making the message applicable to them and powerful.
4. Put a twist on it to grab their attention and spark their interest
5. Make it clear, concise and MEMORABLE (in a good way)
