So. The beginning you ask? Well, I like to jog, gosh darn it. And little did I know that those times I went running in Europe, would make me take 3 weeks of running off... not only running, but any exercise at all. Schnikes!! Okay. So running. I was running through the BEAUTIFUL German city, but still there are fields surrounding (crazy, right?!). So, after running, I stretched with my crew, and then sat down. When I looked down, there it was. THE BUG. AHHHHH hit it off right?!?! So I do, casually. But then, I notice.. it was bleeding. A lot. A small black bug. Hmmmm....... Oh well! So I proceeded to taking a shower and fulfilling my dreams in Europe. Then a couple days later.. hmm. That's odd. My bug bite had grown. It's purple! Haha look how funny it looks! I'll take a picture so I can show my mom when I get home! Haha I am so cool.
When I arrived home, it had grown very slightly. It was about the size of a quarter. Fortunately, my mom didn't think it was that cool, and advised me to go get it checked. So we did, and they put me on antibiotics.
Things were going well, it shrunk back down, and it was almost gone.
UNTIL.......
A FEW DAYS LATER.
WTC?!?!?! (I mean... WHAT THE CRAP?!?!?!)
Can you see the swelling?
There was also streaking up and down my legs.
The swelling caused pain to walk, and days of elevation!
Not to mention a sore buttocks region...
This was the day I went to the doctor for the 2nd time. They gave me a shot... it was ginormous!!!! And let me tell you Ms. nurse... it wasn't in the "hip"!
A few days after shot and being on the new antibiotics.
I was already feeling X10 better!!!!
It has been almost 2.5 weeks since this picture was taken and a month since the actual bite. I encountered many crazy weird things that a body with that many antibiotics will undergo such as thresh, fevers, and... just being plain out of it. It has been a long journey, but I am proud to say that through the help of doctors, prayers, family and friends, I am now healthy, I'm alive, and I'm off of antibiotics!!And guess what. I have actually learned so much from this trial!! I could have brought home a keychain, I could have brought home some swiss chocolate, but of course, this was something I will remember forever! Thank you Europe and your German bugs!
Never again will I complain about my body. I AM SOO GRATEFUL that I have one that is healthy!
Also, there are so many out there who don't have the ability to exercise and do the things I missed doing this past month. Not because they don't want to, but because they are trapped inside bodies that won't allow them to. Man, I have respect for any person with a disability. Appreciate the things you have guys, cause there are people out there who have it a lot worse than you.

Emmy dear! I had no idea you were so afflicted. That makes me sad. Except you are better now so that makes me happy! I love you and love seeing you in random places!
