growing up + a tribute for mums. <3

Ya know, sometimes growing up is the best thing in the world. But at the same time, it can be stir of emotion mixed with memories and change. And a lot of times, it is hard to except that change and moving on. but its good for you!! Haha so my last post I talked about a lot of decision making and changes, and I am sure if you read that one you are probably wondering what on earth my decision is... but you know, it doesn't matter; it all works out through the power of good friends, family, and most importantly, our Heavenly Father. We need to trust in that. 

Kay soooo this week!! WOOH! Second week of the second semester! and it has been GREATT! haha it has been a tough year for me, but also one of the best years. I am lovin Mountain View! So my good friend Brady Frame told me I just HAD to write about this crazy experience we had a couple weeks ago with our good old friend, mums. SO it was my bestest friend matthew macdonalds birthday, so I went over to his house to bring him some random stuff haha. but then I ended up staying there and talking with him, jamie, kara, and brady... and we got this CRAZYY idea to take cardboard, and instead of making a cardboard kitty and putting in the road- we got pretty creative- we made a cardboard mummy! ahahaha it was soo great. we named it mums. haha well kara had to go home, so after we walked her home we took the thing, wrapped it in toilet paper, and put in in the road sitting up with the face smiling at the on coming cars. BAD IDEA. hahah lots of cars were stopping and then would slowly go around it; and it was hilarious to watch as we hid in a bush on the side of the road. BUT THEN. one big black truck stops immediately in front of it, and then reved its engine as it pulled up onto the sidewalk. it started flashing its brights in the bush, and we were freaking out! jamie was like ohh crap oh crap ahh! and then we all took off running. the car SCREETCHED around and starting zooming after us, and we ran until we came to this house where we hid on their front porch. we were all like dying when all of the sudden, the car whips around the corner and starts driving slowly around the culdesac. we hid in a bush and then matt and jamie took off running. I started to run, but then the car came rushing back and so I hid. Then it took off after matt and jamie and Brady and I were like about to cry. haha so.. brady, the cross country runner, of course takes off running and I go after him. We ran through the groves and came out on the other side. Then we saw it. The lights flashing around the corner. The car must have been going through the whole stinkin neighborhood! haha sooo again brady takes off running and I follow, and as soon as the car passes, he tells me to hop the wall. "brady are you serious?!" I gasped. ahaha but he put his hands out as if to hoist me up, and i willingly stepped on his hands and he flung me over the brick wall. so we were in this persons backyard now. PHEW... this is getting pretty intense Im almost sweating as I retell this... haha and we are peeking out through the fence. then matt calls me! he was like whispering and told me that he was is nates backyard across the street, and the charcoal black car saw them hop the fence into it. so i told him that as soon as we could, we would book it across the street and into nates backyard. the car kept driving up and down the street we were on, and then finally after about 15 minutes, matt calls and says "the coast is clear!" so we opened the gate, dashed across the street, and ran into nates backyard. as soon as we get there nates dog starts like attacking me. haha and so we ran to the side of the yard and hopped like 2 more fences to get to bradys house. YESS! VICTORY!! But by this time, it was like 12:15 a.m. haha nott exactly my curfew.. but. Desperate times call for desperate measures. So i had my brother come pick me up and we were all safe. And to this day I have never seen the black car, or mums again. <3

Haha well these past couple weeks have been great, life is great, and I love all my friends. And family! We do some pretty crazy stuff sometimes.

And despite all of the mixed feelings I have about growing up, it is all part of the life experience. Live it. Love it... Grow to accept it. And most of all... Count your blessings! Love you guys!
